New Jersey's Labor Department has made written public comments available on its website. Here's how to read them.
The New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development has uploaded written public comments it received about its proposed independent-contractor rule.
This is not a searchable database (here’s why that would’ve helped). This is thousands of pages of PDFs that people can scroll through one by one.
To access the uploaded comments, click here, then scroll down to open the window called “2025 Notices of Proposal.”
Below that, you’ll see “ABC Test; Independent Contractors” and you can click “Download collected public commentary” to view everything that has been uploaded.
